Launched March 31st 2018
INVISIBLE MEN began as a platform for trans men to have the ability to tell their own narratives instead of being handed who they are according to the world. To tell our truth, a short documentary was created utilizing the stories of various trans men and the loving mother of a trans man expressing their different but eye opening experiences. The film was released in June 2018.
Participants included 12 Transmasculine individuals that told their stories in their own way, giving visibility to an otherwise invisible population. We call them ‘Legacys.’
From there, our growth and goals are being realized due to the increased visibility we were gaining by sharing our truth with clear voices. To that end the organization has expanded to identify or create resources lacking for this demographic. Below are all of the accomplishments so far.
