- The Fenway Health Institute provides education and conducts research related to LGBT healthcare.

World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH)
- Promotes evidence based care, education, research, and advocacy in transgender health. WPATH publishes the Standards of Care and Ethical Guidelines, which is currently in its seventh version.
